Condolences to the Ortiz family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

I met Tim 21 years ago when I was on vacation with my brother and my parents. We were staying at The Hampton Inn in Flagstaff, where Tim worked. My brother and I, at ages 18 and 17, just thought Tim was the coolest guy, and he took us out for dinner. Our parents were horrified to learn that we had gone off with a stranger while they were out sightseeing (ha ha), but we had fun just hanging out. Tim called us "The Southern Mafia" because we are from the South and have an "Italian" look. I've kept in touch with Tim over the phone ever since but sadly for financial and family reasons never got to visit him again. I knew he was in dire condition but hoped and prayed for the best. It had been awhile since I've heard from him, and I was stunned to learn of his passing when I googled him (I have no social media). I sorely regret not having one last talk with him and a hole will always be there for me. I feel that Tim was an extraordinarily caring and kind person and will be missed and I am sending my most heartfelt condolences to his family. Tim will be missed in Winnsboro, Louisiana.

My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Tim.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted many who have experienced such a loss, is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.
